About UsOur missionThe FBI San Antonio Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBISACAAA) is a community-based and supported organization, distinct and separate from the FBI, designed to promote a safer community through community service projects and a process of educating business, labor, media, medical, minority, religious, government, senior citizens, and other community leaders about law enforcement, with particular emphasis on the mission, resources, and limitations of the FBI. Each member of the FBISACAAA is a graduate of multi-week curriculum which focuses on federal law enforcement issues and challenges. Graduates of the curriculum are eligible for participation in the FBI San Antonio Citizens Academy Alumni Association. The Alumni Association meets periodically to receive updates on federal law enforcement issues and education on state and local law enforcement matters. About the FBI Citizens Academy Program The FBI Citizens Academy Program offers business, religious, civic, and community leaders an immersive, engaging experience inter to the inner workings, mission and priorities of the FBI. The goal of the program is to foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in the community through frank discussion and education. Programs are held at FBI field offices around the country. FBI employees, former Citizens Academy Program graduates, and community leaders nominate candidates for the program. Once completed, graduates in good standing are eligible to join the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association.
